2007 REGION 9 TRAIL CHAMPION

Dante' Ibn Pharaoh is a purebred dark bay Arab by the Texas Halter Champion "Lima Pharaoh" and the beautiful broodmare "Silver Chantilly". His famous Grandfather, "Limizar", dazzled many with his performance ability and wins in the show ring, which lead him to be sold and exported to Brazil. His Great Grandfather, "Ansata Ibn Halima", was three times U.S. Top Ten Stallion and the only imported Egyptian stallion to sire both a U.S. National Champion Stallion (Ansata Ibn Sudan) and U.S. National Champion Mare (Fa Halima). Dante' has a number of straight Egyptian ancestors, but would be considered "domestic" or "American" bred due to the mixture of ancestral elements (Egyptian, Crabbett, Davenport, and Polish). He traces tail female to the foundation mare Rodania. The strain is Kuhaylan Ajuz (Rodan). Dante' was bred by Varie Cameron of Cameron Arabians, Friendswood, Texas. His owners, Tim and Sid Chipman, have been at his side since he was born. His training has been handled as he has been raised, in an easy unhurried, gentle but firm manner. Dante' is known for his exquisite head, holding titles for "Most Classic Head" and "Most Classic Arabian". His laid back attitude, gentleman manners, inquisitive gentle nature and smooth ride are only a few of the positive traits this Stallion passes on to his foals. After two years as a successful Junior Horse, Dante's trainer, Debbie Street-Webster of Victory Pass Show Horses, Bixby, OK, expanded his activities to include Junior Exhibitor, Trail, Ladies Side Saddle and currently Reining. Per the American Horse Shows Association "Horse Of The Year" Program Roster of Champions, in 1999, Region 9, he placed 3rd in Arabian Western Pleasure Open, 6th in Arabian Western Pleasure Junior Exhibitor, and 3rd in Arabian Working Western (Trail). In Region 8, 6th in Arabian Western Pleasure Junior Exhibitor. In Region 12, Reserve Champion Arabian Working Western (Trail), and 5th in Arabian Western Pleasure Junior Exhibitor. In 2000, Region 9 he again placed 3rd in Arabian Working Western (Trail). In Region 8, 5th in Arabian Working Western (Trail), 6th in Arabian Specialty (Reining) and in Region 12, 3rd in Arabian Working Western (Trail). Dante's breeding ability was keep in checked by his owners until he reached 5 years old.

They wanted to concentrate first on his performance training before letting him assume the role of a proven Sire. Dante's Get include 2 daughters by the late Egyptian Related mare "Amina Bint Sherif", a direct El Sherif daughter. "Sugar", a chestnut, resides with her new family in Texas and CA Tulsa Sherif still lives at the Farm. In 2000 Tulsa won her Halter Class at the Tulsa State Fair and then placed 3rd in the Green Country Arabian Futurity Class. In the 2001 Halter showing at the Tulsa State Fair she placed 3rd in the Filly 1 Year Old Class and will show again this Sept. in The 2 Year Old Futurity. Dante's 2 year old half Arab buckskin colt, "Dandy Dan", out of the Quarter Horse mare, "Maggie" makes his home in Arkansas and is in training for his show ring debute. On March 24, 2002 "Pharaohs Stormy River", a half Arab bay colt out of the English and Western Pleasure Champion P.O.A. Palomino mare, "HMH Riverdance" and by Dante', made his entrance into the world during a lighting storm. Stormy will make his show ring debute also this year at the Tulsa State Fair Half Arab Green Country Arabian Futurity Class. Dante' has proven that he is a gentleman, a Performance Champion, that he does pass his wonderful traits onto his foals, that he does cross well with ALL mares no matter what the breed, but most of all that he is a gentle soul and a wonderful companion. Dante's proven performance would compliment anyone's purebred or half Arab breeding program portfilio.
